Choosing a Frit Color
I enjoy working with the multitude of colors of frits - it's like working inside of a rainbow. Sometimes the most difficult part is deciding which color or colors to use. When this happens to me I'll do one of the following (always keping in mind the COE of my base glass): 1. Close my eyes and pick one 2. Look out the window and use the first color that I focus on 3. Pick a color that I haven't used in awhile 4. Experiment with color combinations (base with frit) But most importantly, 5. DON'T be afraid to experiment, and 6. HAVE FUN!!! |
