Artisan Lampwork Beads
Iron Mountain Jewelry is a one person glass studio in sunny (sweltering) Bulverde, TX, in the hill country just north of San Antonio. I'm a self-taught lampworker who works full-time in an Interventional Radiology Lab and only get to play with hot, moulten glass when I've been good. Or when I can run fast enough to get away from my department. I've been playing with glass now for about 2 years, but actually only get about 8 hours a month of torch time. I WANT SOME MORE!!!!!! Each of my beads is one of a kind - you'll never see another one exactly like them again. My beads are made with imported Italian Effetre/Moretti and Vetrofond glasses, German Lauscha glass, Bullseye glass, Japanese Satake glass, Gaffer Glass, Double Helix glass, sterling, and assorted frits. All beads are properly kiln-annealed for lasting durability. |
